The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is in the process of updating the Source Water Susceptibility Assessment (SWSA) for the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). Note:

CCR Reporting Correction - Radioactive Contaminants

Past Consumer Confidence Reports may have included incorrect units of measurement with regards to radioactive contaminants. Past reports utilized data from TCEQ which may have represented units of measure as mrem/yr and should have been reported as pCi/L.. NTMWD apologizes for any confusion this may have caused consumers. NTMWD treated drinking water has never exceeded or received a violation for radioactive contaminants.
