Citizen Convenience Centers
Provide Safe Disposal of Household
Solid Waste

NTMWD provides four local Citizen Convenience Centers that provide a means to dispose of unwanted household waste generated by residents of the Solid Waste Member Cities (Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Richardson). These facilities are designed so residents can transport waste in passenger vehicles. No commercial disposal is allowed through this program.

Also located at each of the transfer stations and landfill are sites to legally and safely dispose of used motor oil, used oil filters, and tires. NTMWD encourages you to properly dispose of these materials to protect our valuable water resource.
