NTMWD Showcases a Strong Performance at the 2024 TxSWANA Road-E-O
North Texas Municipal Water District partcipated in the 2024 TxSWANA Road-E-O. This is a competition that showcases skills and talents in operating machinery, driving trucks, and repairing equipment. The competition includes professional drivers, mechanics, and heavy equipment operators from all over Texas, including several of our fleet and solid waste employees.
Will Tomlinson earned first place in the Rubber Tire Loader event, Robert Quinonez took
second place in the Landfill Mechanic Competition, and Antonio Pintea earned third in the Truck and Trailer competition. Their dedication and perseverance is a reflection of the work they put forth at our facilities and committment to promoting a culture of safety at the District.
