Brian Brooks

Role

As the Director of Executive & Board Services, Brian is responsible for overseeing strategic planning, government relations, district policies, special projects, administrative support, and records. He also serves as the staff liaison to the twenty-five-member Board of Directors. As liaison, Brian’s team is responsible for the board and committee agenda process.

Experience & Background

Prior to joining NTMWD in 2016, Brian served nine years as City Manager for the City of Forney, Texas. He has also served in city administration, finance, and human resources roles for the Cities of Kerrville and Ennis, Texas, and Asheville, North Carolina.
