Role
As the Director of Human Resources, Ike oversees all facets of Human Resources for the NTMWD, including leading strategies for recruitment, staffing, employee engagement and recognition, personnel policies, compensation, benefits, and employee training and development.
Experience
Ike joined NTMWD in June 2022 with more than 25 years of experience in all facets of human resources management, 10 of which were spent in executive leadership roles. Prior to joining the District, Ike served as the Director of Human Resources and Risk Management for the City of McKinney, and before then as Director of Human Resources, Risk Management & Civil Service for the City of Irving. His portfolio at Irving included dual appointments as a trustee on the boards of the Irving Supplemental Benefit Plan and the Irving Fire Pension Plan administrative boards. Ike started his career in public service at the City of Denton, where he served in various roles in human resources and finance.
