George Crump is the President of Crump and Associates, Inc., a manufacturers’ representative firm serving the industrial and power transmission industry. He is also Vice President of Business Development for Techtop Industries, a global manufacturer of industrial electric motors. With a strong background in both business and public service, Mr. Crump has been a dedicated civic leader in Farmersville for over three decades.
He served as Mayor from 1990 to 2004, following terms on the City Council and various key leadership roles, including President of the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Farmersville ISD Board of Trustees, and Chairman of both the Planning and Zoning Board and the Community Development Corporation 4B. He also served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Farmersville Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Crump attended East Texas State University and El Centro College.
