Phil Dyer is a retired banker and longtime community leader whose service has left a lasting impact on the City of Plano. He has served as Mayor, as a member of the Plano City Council, and on the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission and Parks and Recreation Board.
Beyond public office, Mr. Dyer has chaired the boards of numerous civic and charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross of Collin County, Hope’s Door Women’s Shelter, the Medical Center of Plano Board of Trustees, the Plano Balloon Festival, the Plano Chamber of Commerce, Plano Community Home, and the United Way of Plano.
Mr. Dyer is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration and East Texas State University with a Master of Business Administration.
