Randy Roland is a retired police executive with 32 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, 11 years with the Dallas Police Department, and 21 years with the McKinney Police Department. He concluded his career in 2021 as the Assistant Chief of Police for McKinney PD, where he was recognized for his leadership, dedication to public safety, and commitment to community partnerships.

A graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Disaster Planning, Mr. Roland also completed advanced leadership training at the FBI National Academy and the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration Management College. 

Mr. Roland has served on the  Board of Directors for Minuteman Disaster Response, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, and as President of the Board of Directors for CASA of Collin County. He also held civic leadership roles as Chairman of the City Planning Commission and as a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment/Buildings and Standards Commission.
