A Walk in the Park 2019 (McKinney)

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 1, as the Collin County Master Gardeners host A Walk in the Park, at beautiful Myers Park & Event Center in McKinney, Texas.

This free event is your opportunity to stroll each of the Earth-Kind Gardens, which include the perennial garden, annuals garden, herb garden, vineyard, shade garden, shrub and grasses garden, crape myrtle garden, potager garden and vegetable garden, as well as our most recent garden, a children’s garden, which was funded by Whole Foods 5% Giving Day. Each garden will have Master Gardeners ready and willing to answer your questions. These gardens are situated across the park, so wear your walking shoes, take pictures, ask questions, or just simply enjoy the beauty of Myers Park.

Additionally, there will children’s activities, a rainwater harvesting demonstration and our Information Booth volunteers will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

So, come on out to Myers Park and enjoy the morning. The event begins at 9:00 am and ends at noon. Admission is FREE.
