One free roll of blue recycling bags will be available to Richardson residents (with proof of residency) Wednesday, Nov. 15 to celebrate America Recycles Day.

The availability of free bags comes as the City Council has placed an increased focus on recycling to raise awareness and to provide more programs to help boost the amount of material that is diverted from landfills.

There is a limit of one roll of bags per household. Free bags will be available at the following location:

Nov. 15
6:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
RaceTrac
720 E. Arapaho Rd.
