Bluegrass on Ballard – Wylie

July 1, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

It’s almost here! Head for historic downtown Wylie July 1 for the biggest and best Bluegrass on Ballard ever. Come early and stay late — there’s lots to see and do all day.

Wylie will indeed be wide awake July 1 for this free festival featuring top bands, a car show, arts and crafts and great food. The event in historic downtown Wylie breathes new life into the city’s longtime moniker, “Wide Awake Wylie,” and continues the tradition of drawing citizens and visitors into the heart of the city.

The day begins at 10 am with arts and crafts vendors, a chili cook-off, and great food and goes through the evening with a 200+ car show and bands performing on stage (this year, in Olde City Park) from 3 to 10 pm.

Bring your instrument and pick and jam with other musicians on the street or in shops and restaurants throughout the day!
