Drug Take Back Day (Plano)

April 27 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Drive through and drop off unused and expired prescription medications at the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Instead of trashing or flushing your medications, bring them to a Take Back Day site for safe disposal. It’s free and anonymous. Just black out your info on the prescription bottles or empty your medications directly into the drop-off bags. Tablets, capsules and all other solid forms of medications are acceptable. Sharps, such as needles, syringes and auto-injectors (like EpiPens) cannot be accepted at this event. Instead, find instructions for sharps disposal on plano.gov.

Plano Police coordinates with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to offer this event. Drug Take Back is a safe and legal way to get rid of any unneeded pills, including prescription pain pills and other controlled-substance medications.
