Forney BBQ Cookoff and Festival (Forney)

This year’s cook-off will be headlined by country recording artist Jack Ingram and once again benefit both the Forney Food Pantry and Sharing the Love Foundation. The BBQ Cook-off will be sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cookers Association (IBCA) sanctioned event.

Friday, June 1st, 6:00pm-10:00pm

6:00pm – 9:00pm – BBQ JUDGING
Every hour teams will turn-in entries for our jackpot categories of Steak, Dessert and Cook’s Choice. All entries are judged and then narrowed down to the Final Table where the winning selection is made. Community members are invited to sign-up to be a judge of one of the many categories. Judgings is free and open ages 16+.

SATURDAY FUN IN THE SUN

Saturday, June 2nd, 12:00pm-8:00pm

12:00pm – 5:00pm – BBQ JUDGING
Every hour over 50 teams turn-in either Beans, Chicken, Ribs, Brisket or Pork Butt. All entries are judged and then narrowed down to the Final Table where the winning selection is made. Community members are invited to sign-up to be a judge of one of the many categories. Judgings is free and open ages 16+.

Local and craft vendors will be onsite all day and Food vendors will be onsite serving up some of that yummy BBQ!12:00PM – 6:00PM – FAMILY ZONE

No BBQ festival is complete without BBQ Sampling!$15 tickets | Day of Purchase Only Beginning at 12:00pm | 1 wristband per person
The wristband allows you to sample all participating teams Brisket and then vote for your Top 3.*Proceeds are divided between the winning team and event benefactors*
