The City of Forney is excited to announce an outdoor ice skating rink will be part of this year’s holiday recreation. The rink will be located at Forney Community Park,241 S. FM 548, from November 24, 2017 to January 2, 2018. The daily hours of operation will be a balance public skating and private ice rental for holiday or end-of-year parties

Our staff is always in search of special events and recreations that other communities do no offer. The ice rink is certain to provide a one-of-a-kind holiday experience that residents of all ages will enjoy.

We estimate thousands of skaters and spectators during the inaugural six weeks of operation and anticipate the rink will be an annual event.
