Using Mobile Technology to Communicate With Water Customers (webinar)

February 8, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) WaterSense® program and the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE) invite you to join a free webinar, Using Mobile Technology to Communicate With Water Customers, on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern. Attendees will learn how the North Texas Municipal Water District worked with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to introduce customers to mobile technology that takes the guesswork out of outdoor watering.

Charles Swanson, extension program specialist for the Landscape Irrigation Program with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will introduce the program’s Water My Yard program. The presentation will describe how the Water My Yard program addresses landscape irrigation water waste by providing users with weekly, customized ET-based watering guidelines by email and text message.
