Spring is perfect for gardening. Warmer temperatures, seasonal rain and the Garden Green in Plano Fair arrives to expand your horticultural horizons. Whether you are new to gardening or a gardening pro, our Saturday, May 1 virtual event can help improve your gardening knowledge.

Spring is in full swing! The Garden Green in Plano Fair 2021 is available to expand your horticultural horizons. Whether you are new to gardening or new to gardening in North Central Texas, our Saturday, May 1 virtual event can help improve your gardening knowledge.

Successful gardens start with healthy soil and compost. First, we’ll cover the basics of compost and its uses so that your yard is ready to receive for your plants. Then we’ll spend time covering the ins and outs of appropriate irrigation so that your plants will thrive (not drown) in your yard. Finally, all landscapes need maintenance so we’ll cover which tools are essential to new gardeners, how to choose them, and how to care for them.
