Wylie Arts Festival
December 7 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm| Free
The City of Wylie and the Public Arts Advisory Board are proud to present the Wylie Arts Festival in historic Downtown Wylie. Shop for art, handmade crafts and unique gifts; enjoy the free children’s activities; and sample festive foods. Admission and parking is free.
More than 150 Art & Craft Vendors
The Wylie Arts Festival is the perfect opportunity to cross some names off your Christmas list or simply treat yourself. Stroll through the art and craft aisles in the FBC Wylie Event Center and shop from the vendors hand-picked by the Public Arts Board to ensure a diverse, unique selection of quality handmade fine art and craft items. From jewelry to home décor to clothing to paintings to gift items you will not find anywhere else, there is definitely something for everyone. Don’t forget to take a walk throughout the downtown area where you will find unique shops, restaurants and treats.
Historic downtown will be filled with more than just the sights and sounds of the holidays on Dec. 7; the smell of festive food will be in the air as well. Choose from your favorite fair-style foods. Stop by and check out the selection.
FREE Children’s Activities
Wylie Parks and Recreation hosts the free children’s area featuring a variety of inflatables, a petting zoo and pony rides. The Public Art Advisory Board will host free art and craft projects under a tent near the food court.
Be sure to check out the vendors’ wide selection of handmade children’s items for sale and face painting, henna and sand art featured at several vendor booths (fee).
