Frisco utility bills going up 8 percent to cover major water, sewer improvements

More outdoor watering – brought on from an end of summer dry spell and eased restrictions allowing twice weekly frequency – got the blame for higher utility bills arriving at the end of summer.

New rates, approved by the Frisco City Council last month, are expected to bring higher bills beginning this fall.
