Higher water rates flowing across North Texas have reached McKinney.

Dripped into the fiscal year 2015-16 budget are 11 percent and 13 percent increases in city water and wastewater rates, respectively. Those hikes are to the base bill, so customers will pay at least $2.97 more a month.
