NTMWD Showcases a Strong Performance at the 2024 TxSWANA Road-E-O
The 2024 TxSWANA Road-E-O took place in Midland, Texas. This annual event brings together the best professional drivers, expert mechanics, and heavy equipment operators from across the state. Representing NTMWD, several fleet and solid waste employees competed and placed in each of the categories. The Solid Waste Association of North Texas (SWANA) is an organization dedicated to advancing the practice of solid waste management. Founded in 1961, SWANA provides a platform for professionals in the field to exchange knowledge, develop skills, and implement best practices.
Will Tomlinson earned first place in the Rubber Tire Loader event, Robert Quinonez took second place in the Landfill Mechanic Competition, and Antonio Pintea earned third in the Truck and Trailer competition.
