News Stream – October 2019

Our October News Stream highlights the recent Fiscal Year 2020 Budget approval by the NTMWD Board of Directors which includes a 7-cent rate increase (lower than previous projections). Our FY 20 Budget and Rates Fact Sheet has a quick run-down of the key drivers behind the numbers.

We also take time to congratulate our South Mesquite Rangers who brought home the top trophy for Division 2 in the WEFTEC 2019 Operations Challenge.  Over the next month, we’ll share stories with you about these and many other vital professionals who ensure we always have safe, reliable water to drink and use everyday, as well as take care of that water as it flows from homes and businesses.

See our new materials that explain how we take care of waste, say goodbye to one of NTMWD’s original basins and get information on the Wings Over the Wetland Event benefiting the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center.
