DALLAS (AP) – A contractor for the North Texas Municipal Water District plans to start dredging two areas of a key reservoir amid the lingering drought and concerns about supplying users.

The Dallas Morning News reported on Monday (http://bit.ly/1ECPxNn) that dredging of Lavon Lake would help increase water deliveries by up to 7.2 million gallons daily.
