As the Assistant Deputy Director of Engineering and Construction, Cesar Baptista oversees all aspects of the NTMWD Capital Improvement Program implementation, including the Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir projects, as well as Real Estate Acquisition/Management for the District.
Experience & Background
Cesar joined NTMWD in 2015 bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry. He has extensive experience in planning and delivery of large capital programs related to conveyance and treatment facilities. He has been involved in overseeing the development of engineering plans and future construction to implement the $150-million Trinity River Main Stem Pump Station and the $1.2 billion proposed Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir project and related infrastructure.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.
