Role

As the Deputy Director of Engineering and Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Cesar Baptista oversees all aspects of NTMWD planning, engineering and construction, including CIP projects, Real Estate Acquisition/Management, and Energy Management programs.

 

Experience & Background

Cesar joined NTMWD in 2015 bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry. He has extensive experience in planning and delivery of large capital programs related to conveyance and treatment facilities. He has been involved in overseeing the development of engineering plans and construction of the $150-million Trinity River Main Stem Pump Station and the $1.2 billion Bois d’Arc Lake project and related infrastructure.
