As the Deputy Director of Engineering and Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Joe Stankiewicz oversees all aspects of NTMWD planning, engineering and construction, including CIP projects, Real Estate Acquisition/Management, and Energy Management programs.
Experience & Background
Joe joined NTMWD in 1982. During his tenure at NTMWD, he has been involved in the planning, engineering and construction of major capital projects, including most recently the $300-million Texoma pipeline project and the $127-million implementation of ozone disinfection systems at the Wylie water treatment facilities. Joe and his team are currently leading the engineering and construction planning for the $150-million Trinity River Main Stem Pump Station and the $1.2 billion proposed Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir project and related infrastructure.
