As the Deputy Director – Administrative Services, Rodney Rhoades oversees all aspects of the NTMWD operations for Finance, Accounting, Personnel, Policies and Records Management.

Experience & Background

Rodney joined the team at NTMWD in 2016, coming from the City of McKinney as the Chief Financial Officer.

Rodney has more than 30 years of experience in government administration with both cities and counties in Texas providing innovative solutions to challenges in today’s public service. Prior to his service in McKinney, he worked for Travis County in Austin where he served as the County Executive and Budget Officer overseeing the Budget, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Long Range Financial Planning, Facilities Planning, Facilities Implementation, IT Systems Consultation, Economic Development and Investment Management divisions.

Rodney previously served as the Director of Budget, Finance and Operation for Collin County from 2000 to 2008 and in the Finance departments at the cities of Grand Prairie and Garland.
