Assistant Deputy – Water Treatment and Conveyance

As the Assistant Deputy for Water Treatment and Conveyance, Zeke Campbell oversees all aspects of treatment and conveyance,  which includes leading over 125 staff, the operations and maintenance of 7 water treatment plants, 700 miles of raw and treated water transmission pipelines and 14 major pump stations; operating on an annual budget in excess of $190 million. The Regional Water System serves over 2 million residents in North Texas.

 

Experience & Background

Zeke has worked in the drinking water industry for more than 16 years. Before joining the District, he held senior-level roles in large water utilities in Texas and Colorado and served as a consultant for a large water and wastewater engineering firm. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Biology. Zeke joined the District in 2019 as the Water Treatment System Manager.  He is a licensed water operator in Texas (Class A).
