NTMWD, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board are partnering with local stakeholders to develop a voluntary, nonregulatory, watershed protection plan. The public is invited to join the process by attending one of two project kickoff meetings. This partnership is designed to allow public input, which will drive the development of a voluntary, stakeholder-driven watershed protection plan for Lavon Lake. Water Loss Audit Workshop (Wylie)
The Texas Water Development Board has scheduled a Water Loss Audit Workshop at the North Texas Municipal Water District. The Water Loss Audit Workshop satisfies recent legislation pursuant to the 85th Texas Legislature House Bill 1573 requiring that water loss audits submitted to TWDB be completed by an individual trained in water loss auditing.
