We Have Baby Eaglets!

We estimate the eaglets hatched on March 3rd or 4th. We have been observing feeding behavior – the adult eagle stands on the side of the nest and crouches down to feed and then comes back up. We will continue to monitor and keep you updated on the newest members of the wetland family!

On the night of December 26, 2015 the North Texas tornadoes damaged the camera system and we are unable to get the camera back online during the current breeding season. We will periodically update the Eagles progress on our website and Facebook page. The pair of Eagles were not affected by the storms and they continue to heartily build up the nest in preparation for eggs. We invite you to enjoy the Wetland Center the first and third Saturday each month to observe the eagles first hand and experience the wetland habitat.
